For video files, you get access to trimming with a visual timeline and draggable markers, compression with custom CRF and codec selection (H.264/H.265), format conversion between MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI, MKV, and FLV, resolution resizing with presets from 360p to 4K plus custom dimensions with aspect ratio lock, speed change from 0.25x to 4x with pitch preservation, volume adjustment with normalization, audio extraction to MP3/WAV/AAC/FLAC/OGG with bitrate selection, thumbnail extraction at any timestamp as JPG/PNG/WebP, and subtitle extraction as SRT.

Upload your media file
Click the upload area or drag and drop any video, audio, or image file. The Studio auto-detects the file type and shows a preview — video player for videos, audio player for audio, and image preview for images. File metadata (duration, resolution, size, type) is displayed automatically.
Choose an operation
Select an operation from the tab bar. Only operations relevant to your file type are shown. For video files: Trim, Compress, Convert, Resize, Speed, Volume, Extract Audio, Thumbnail, and Subtitles. For audio: Trim, Convert, Speed, and Volume. For images: Convert, Resize, Crop, and Remove Background.
Configure settings
Each operation shows its specific controls below the tab bar. For example, Trim shows a visual timeline with draggable markers; Compress shows CRF presets and codec selection; Convert shows format buttons and quality options. Adjust the settings to match your needs.
Process and download
Click the Process button to start. A progress bar shows upload and processing status. When complete, the result is automatically downloaded. For audio extraction and subtitles, you can preview the result before downloading. Click Reset to start over with a new file or operation.

Use the preview player to find exact timestamps before trimming
Play the video or audio in the built-in player, pause at the exact frame you want, and click Set Start or Set End to capture that position. This is much faster and more accurate than typing timestamps manually.
Try different compression levels before committing
If you are unsure which compression level to use, start with Medium (CRF 28). If the file is still too large, try Heavy. The size comparison after processing shows exactly how much space you saved, so you can decide if the quality trade-off is acceptable.
Choose the right format for your platform
MP4 with H.264 is universally compatible — use it when in doubt. WebM is smaller for web embedding. For audio, MP3 is universal but AAC offers better quality per bitrate. For images, WebP gives the best size-to-quality ratio for web use.
Enable Preserve Pitch when changing speed
When speeding up or slowing down audio/video, the Preserve Pitch option keeps voices sounding natural. Without it, faster speeds create a chipmunk effect and slower speeds create a deep rumble. Keep it enabled unless you intentionally want the pitch shift for creative effect.
